Connecting with Apple Mail

Apple Mail is proprietary software. To protect your freedom, you should consider using an open source email client.

1. Open Apple Mail. From the menu, select Mail → Add Account...

2. Fill in the details and click Sign In.

3. Apple Mail may be unable to login, so you will need to specify details:

   1. Account Type: IMAP
   2. Incoming Mail Server: imap.ircnow.org
   3. Outgoing Mail Server: mail.ircnow.org
   4. Click Sign In.
4. Select the apps you want to use the account with, then click Done.

5. You can begin sending mail.

GPG Tools can help encrypt your email for Apple Mail, but it no longer appears to be free of charge. For this reason, you should consider using an open source email client.
